PROBLEMS AT YEAR-ROUND ICE-SKATING RINK
Plaats

Sport Vlaanderen in Hasselt

Type uitgevoerde werken

Ice skating enthusiasts can live it up at Sport Vlaanderen Hasselt: the indoor Olympic-sized (60 meters by 30) skating rink is a dream come true for them. This hall has an average ceiling height of 6m and it was never the aim to make the space perfectly dry. However, it was necessary to reduce the humidity considerably, so that condensation could be prevented and the space would be easier to heat. To do this, 2 large DH150GXF dehumidifiers were used together with 4 TTV4500 fans to nicely distribute the dry air from the dehumidifiers in the hall. Thanks to our intervention, visitors can come here and skate under perfect conditions.
